Tonight my little Fiends are having Broccoli (grated and florets), Carrot (Grated and sliced), Thyme and Avian Seaweed.

They are scoffing it and running through it right now as I post this!

That salad look delicious, and so well presented. I think I’ll give that a go (leaving out the avian seaweed, obviously.

It looks delicious! I’m trying to introduce my baby budgie to new vegetables and this dish is definitely an inspiration. Thanks for sharing! πŸ˜€

You are most welcome. Good luck with getting your budgie into veg. Try grated carrot or basil leaves as a starter πŸ™‚

I’ve tried giving him grated carrot and he’s started to eat it but he doesn’t seem to love it as much as eating carrot tops (he loves those!). Is it possible that budgies have preference for certain colours? (e.g. green veggies?).

I’ll try giving him basil leaves next. It’s my first budgie so I’m trying to learn as much as I can and as quickly as I can about them to make sure he’s healthy and happy.

        Thanks! ^_^
